As a young mum of two, Emma always felt a pull to give back but didn’t think her small donations could make a real difference.
One Sunday, she heard about Grace Works Kids during her church service — a foundation helping families who couldn’t afford early childcare. Something in her heart stirred.
“I realized how blessed I was to have access to good childcare and Sunday school for my kids. I wanted that for others too.”
Emma began giving $20 a month. Soon after, she received a thank-you note with a story about a little girl named Leila, who had just started preschool through Grace Works.
That simple connection changed everything.
“Reading Leila’s story made me cry — not out of sadness, but gratitude. I finally saw what ‘faith in action’ looked like. My small gift wasn’t small at all; it was part of something eternal.”
Today, Emma’s monthly giving continues, and she volunteers at her church’s preschool ministry.

David, a retired teacher from Queensland, spent decades in education. When he lost his wife in 2022, his world felt smaller, quieter.
While browsing online one evening, he came across Grace Works Kids Foundation and decided to make a donation in his wife’s memory.
“She loved children and believed in the power of faith and learning. Donating felt like keeping her spirit alive.”
A few months later, David received a photo and story of Riley, a five-year-old boy learning to pray and sing in Sunday school.
“Seeing Riley’s smile reminded me that even in loss, love continues to multiply. I thought I was just sending money — but what I received was healing, purpose, and peace.”
Now, David has become one of Grace Works Kids’ most dedicated supporters, sponsoring an entire class each year in his wife’s name.
